Geon™ 170 Series Dispersion Resins

Geon™ 170 Series lo-sope dispersion resins is a group of homopolymer resins available in a variety of molecular weights. The 170 Series is designed for high-performance coatings with such important features as stain resistance, excellent clarity and gloss, low odor and taste, low viscosity at high shear rates and low-methanol extractables.

These resins have a broad range of applications, but are most popular for:

  • Coating organosols
  • Resilient sheet flooring wear layer
  • Fabric coating
  • Metal coating
  • Insect- and shade-screen coating
  • Thin decorative films
  • Heart catheters
  • Adhesive bandage strips
