Geon™ 180 Series Dispersion Resins

Geon™ 180 Series specialty dispersion (foam) resins were developed to provide improved foam qualities for specific applications. They also provide high-viscosity/high-yield products used for formulation rheology adjustments.

Applications for the 180 Series include:

  • Weather stripping
  • Vinyl sheet flooring foam layers
  • Unsupported foams for all types of padded products

Key Characteristics

Physical properties of Geon 180 Series resins include excellent foam cell structure with built-in overblow protection, stable cell structure under strenuous conditions, low-density foamability, a range of molecular weights and Brookfield densities, decreasing viscosity with increased shear rates, and the ability to handle high levels of fillers.
