ANAHEIM, Calif. – PolyOne Corporation (NYSE: POL) and BASF Engineering Plastics announced today at the MD&M West show that PolyOne Distribution will carry a portfolio of BASF’s advanced polymers for healthcare. These materials include high-performance Ultrason® grades based on polysulfone, polyethersulfone, and polyphenylsulfone.
These high-temperature polymers can be used in applications such as respiratory devices, fluid collection containers and others that require optimum strength, chemical resistance and repeated exposure to certain sterilization processes.
