OnColor™ FastMark™ Colorants 
Colorants for Laser Marking 

OnColor™ FastMark™ colorants incorporated in resin give control over the laser-marking process, whether for identification, design or informational purposes.

To ensure high-visibility performance, these patented colorants are custom-formulated for specific resin and laser systems.

Typically, OnColor FastMark formulations can provide:

  • A light mark on a dark background color
  • A dark mark on a light background color
  • A color mark on a dark background color

Current technology cannot produce a color mark on a white background.

Key Characteristics

OnColor FastMark colorants come in standard pellet and mini-pellet form, ready for feeder or tumble metering. The process temperature range depends on the polymer, which can extend from PE, PP, GPPS, ABS, PET and PBT to nylon, acrylic, ABS/PC or PC.

Typical usage is from 2% to 6% with a usage range of 1% to 100%. Whether the process is injection molding, blow molding or extrusion, OnColor FastMark colorants can provide dependable, consistent performance.
