Edgetek XT High Performance Blends   
Made with BPA-Free Eastman Tritan™ Copolyester  

 

PolyOne’s Edgetek™ XT high performance blends made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester offer enhanced melt flow and chemical resistance, as well as outstanding strength, and durability.

PolyOne's current portfolio of Edgetek™ XT high performance blends incorporates the chemical resistance and other physical performance attributes of Tritan™ copolyester with the melt flow characteristics of acryonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS) to create a combination critical to extending part life, improving performance and aesthetics and enhancing brand value.

Edgetek™ XT high performance blends made with Eastman Tritan™ copolyester are BPA-free and can be an excellent alternative to polycarbonate(PC) or PC/ABS blends. 

 

Key Characteristics:

  • Chemical Resistance, withstanding harsh chemical cleaners, oils, and food substances
  • Strength and Durability, providing outstanding combination of mechanical properties and toughness
  • Hydrolytic Stability, offering improved low residual stress; no crazing or cracking
  • BPA-free, contains no bisphenol-A monomer
