Syncure™ system cross-linked polyethylene is a two-step, silane-grafted, moisture-crosslinkable polyethylene system. Made by following the Sioplas E two-step technology, Syncure XLPE offers the processor significant advantages and economies over organic peroxide, radiation and reactor copolymer cross-linking processes.
Key Characteristics
The Syncure system should be considered whenever enhanced properties are required, such as:
- Temperature resistance
- Creep resistance
- Stress crack resistance
- Abrasion resistance
Additional Product Information
Syncure XLPE allows for two distinct advantages over regular polyethylene: much-improved heat resistance and oil resistance. The Syncure system is versatile enough to produce solid, coextruded or foam profiles, films or injection-molded parts. Many downstream operations are also possible. Syncure systems are available for low-voltage wire and cable and other specialty market applications.
