Geon™ Duracap™ vinyl capstock compounds provide exceptional weatherability and durability with outstanding color retention, stain and scratch resistance, and gloss control. Geon Duracap compounds add value and increase design flexibility for an unlimited variety of exterior building products.
Geon Duracap compounds can be applied to a substrate as a protective coating (0.003 to 0.005 inches thick) by co-extrusion, film extrusion calendaring and lamination, and extrusion coating. Lamination and extrusion coating can be accomplished using heat or adhesives, depending on the substrate to be coated.
