Vinyl plastisols are dispersions of special fine-particle vinyl resin and additives in a plasticizing liquid that form a liquid compound. When heated, the plastisol fuses into a tough functional coating providing properties such as abrasion, corrosion and electrical resistance. These compounds can be formulated to any color and to a wide range of hardness to meet the specific end use requirements. Vinyl plastisols can be applied using a variety of application methods that take advantage of the ease of conversion of the liquid plastisol to a fused homogeneous thermoplastic solid form.
Vinyl Organosols are dispersions of a vinyl resin or combination of resins in liquid ingredients, where a major portion of those liquid ingredients is volatile.
